A new set of officers have been inducted into office today. This marks the beginning of a new fiscal year for the submarinewivesclub organization. Spearheading the induction is the outgoing president, Mrs. Jennifer B. Sherman. She will turnover the reigns to incoming president Mrs. Martha D. Stojakovic.
The event was held at the submarinewivesclub office function hall. It will be attended by the who’s who in the organization, including past officers, as well as family and friends of all newly-elected officers.
“It has been a great year for us generally,” remarked Mrs. Sherman, financial adviser at Mirador Wealth management, during an interview with NBC reporter Lisa Schultz. “I feel like the organization grew and went in the direction which we were hoping it would. We just hope that the next batch of officers will continue what we’ve started,” added Mrs. Sherman, who looked stunning in the Vera Wang gown she wore elegantly on the ballroom floor.
After the induction, a formal dinner and dance was hosted by the new set of officers. The food choices were excellent, prepared by would-be chefs who happen to be scholars of submarinewivesclub.org. There was also a live band to serenade the diners with sweet and relaxing jazz music until the wee hours of the morning when the event was finally over.
